VOXAMIL Aquatics Learn to Swim is a boutique private swim school operating from a 12-metre front yard pool in Farrer, Canberra.

Every lesson is personally taught by Sarah Reed, 2019 AUSTSWIM Teacher of the Year with over 20 years of experience in the aquatics industry and a background as a national-level swimmer.

Specialising in one-on-one instruction, each swimmer receives individual attention, a personalised learning plan and consistent communication with parents to ensure steady progress and confidence in the water.

Whether your goal is water confidence, learning to swim, stroke development or refining technique, every lesson is tailored to the individual in a calm, supportive and professional environment.

Our Access & Inclusion Program is designed for children who require a more individualised approach to swimming, including those with autism, sensory sensitivities, anxiety, or additional needs.

We offer:

  • 1:1 private lessons

  • 1:2 lessons (child with a support sibling)

This ensures a calm, focused, and supportive learning environment.

Lessons follow a structured progression focusing on water safety, confidence, and independence, while remaining flexible to meet each child’s individual needs.

Lessons are delivered at partner aquatic facilities. Location and availability will be confirmed upon enquiry.

Lesson duration and scheduling options will be provided based on the program location and availability, though generally 20 minutes.

Yes — we encourage involvement where it supports the child’s comfort and progress.
